For example, today we can share posts from other users, store collections of photos, have a friends list and many other things. Whether you remember the iconic yellow running figure or the sound of a message alert, AOL Instant messaging was a favorite among users. We’re going to focus on AOL Instant messaging. Some of those people were still using AOL’s online service, but we won’t get into that discussion. Not unlike a lot of people that were using the Internet back in the late 90s, I was using AOL Instant messaging.
